Come on Kowalski....seriously? The trailer looked rubbish and Sony Pictures make a lot of bad films especially with Marvel characters: Morbius, Venom, Ghost Rider (I think).
Even with Sweeney's fantastic jugs and Isabela Merced I'll be giving it a miss. The god awful reviews just confirmed my earlier suspicions.

Nah it's crap. I remember I actually went to the cinema to see it when it first came out. On the way out the people waiting for the next showing saw all our faces and one remarked "not a good sign".
The reviewers thought it was crap too (wish I had checked before going to the cinema).
It did have great marketing at the time. Verhoeven had done the extremely enjoyable Starship Troopers just before this (not to mention Robocop and Total Recall) and between that and the groundbreaking special effects it couldn't possibly be bad right? Wrong.
All the money was spent on the effects and not on the script.
I just saw an advertisement for this with her beating up men twice her size. Laughable.
