I think she lives from that ending or at least it is suggested that she does. That is after all the miracle that Ralph wanted all along!
Just watching it again for the 3 or 4th time this week. It never gets old. It's a real pick me up of a movie.
They didn't want a film that portrays the Catholic religion in a "positive" way.
I think you are onto something. Hollywood wanted to have it both ways. La La Land is an instant classic! Many people I know don't even know what Moonlight is and I would bet that many in the Academy haven't even watched it. Many people are seeing La La Land multiple times. IMDB has La La Land at 8.4 while Moonlight has a 7.7. I believe they gave Moonlight the award out of political correctness.
Nice take on the film...I really loved it too. I hope it wins the Oscar for Best Picture!
The ratings on IMDB change very quickly because it is mostly millennials voting for newer movies and while putting it into the Top 40 films of all time might seem like a bit much as movies go in 2016 it is Pretty Darn GOOD! I gave it 10/10 simple because it's one of the few movies I have seen in recent memory that does what I think a movie should do, it entertained me, it took me out of my reality for two hours and it made feel and think. Bravo La La Land!!!
No I kept mine for the other features like users reviews and list ect. I also think it's cool that they've link these two sites. I'm hoping this works out.
