Gunn has said this won't have the same tone as GOTG, he has written Dawn Of The Dead and produced Brightburn. There have been lighthearted Superman stuff in the past that worked. if the film is bad it won't because they're not bringing back Cavill who was a plank of wood the entire time he played the character, or a Clark and Lois who had zero chemistry. In reality he was a plank of wood the entire time he played the character, outside of the one time he played classic Supes in Josstice League, the most Superman he ever was is in the version of Justice League that everybody hates. It might some mental health issues with these people and their perception of reality. I think anyone with common sense and can look at things objectively can see recasting Superman was inevitable. They say they wanted Cavill but didn't support anything when they come out, it's easier for them to go online to hashtag bring back Henry Cavill. People like Aaron Fischer, Mr H Reviews and Ryan Kinel are talking like a Superman film without Cavill is an automatic fail, anyone who might be cast as Superman is insulting Cavill or a new suit is again insulting Cavill, the mind has been warped with these people and their perception of reality, it feels like Snyderverse has affected people's brains and their idea of Superman. Remember when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman, there was an awful lot of hate from fans who thought it was gonna a comedy and gonna be the worst, then what happen everybody started praising Keaton once they saw him in costume, so is it possible that Superman Legacy might be good? is it possible David Corenswet might be good? cause these people can't move past the fact that Cavill is no longer Superman and the new film isn't Man Of Steel 2 they can't comprehend this, they're too stubborn. If the film fails it won't be because they're not carrying on from a version that was incredibly divisive. Can see his Perry White being an Alex Jones like figure. Just because they're using Lex, Miss Teschmacher and Otis doesn't mean they're gonna be the same characters as they were in the Christopher Reeve movies, even Supergirl have a Miss Tessmacher and Otis that were nothing like they were in 1&2. SR failed not just because it was a loose sequel but has a miscast Lois Lane and lack of action. Snyder fans say they want Henry Cavill but don't support any of the products he's in, if they wanted him back they needed to support Black Adam and they didn't do that, it's easier for them to go on YouTube or social media demanding that Cavill's return. Since Quick And The Dead and Casino came out she hasn't been in anything of quality in years. Snyder cultists are trying to boycott everything Superman until Henry Cavill is back because what else are they gonna do? what about going outside for fresh air as long as you can move past this one actor who is central to your life, what about giving other actors a shot? seems like a crazy notion to them giving other actors a shot, we've seen how they treated Tyler Hoechlin, Brandon Routh's return in Crisis and now David Corenswet. Snyder cultists are trying to boycott everything Superman until Henry Cavill is back because what else are they gonna do? what about going outside for fresh air as long as you can move past this one actor who is central to your life. To them taking inspiration from the Christopher Reeve movie or TAS is an automatic fail. Looking at the casting of David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Holt and Wendall Pierce it's very possible that the film might be good. They're definitely not gonna make the same mistake of doing a loose sequel to the Christopher Reeve movies that Superman Returns did. Even My Adventures With Superman has a black Perry White. "Gunn is using a textured suit like Snyder, oh no" Apparently casting a black Perry White, having a textured Superman suit or having Lois know Clark is Superman is somehow automatically ripping off Snyderverse. Be like Robbie Robertson in Spiderman 2 when he looks at Peter and saids "I heard Spiderman was there". Think people are so attached to the image of Henry Cavill as Superman that they want him to play the role forever or don't think about what could be. The most Superman Cavill ever was is in Josstice League the version of Justice League that everybody hates. The Sad truth is that general audiences and the normies of the world have moved on from Cavill's Superman and may have forgotten he was Superman largely because WB and DC didn't exploit him as Superman. Snyder Cultists are demanding that the boycott of everything Superman until Henry Cavill is back because what are they gonna? get a breath of fresh? get a job? as long as you can move past this one thing that is central to your life, what about giving other actors a shot? Apparently anyone who might be cast as Superman is somehow insulting Henry Cavill or any new movie suit is again somehow insulting Cavill, seems the image of Cavill as Superman has affected people's brains, I don't get it...I really don't. The most Superman we got in movies in the last ten years was Captain America in the MCU. The Snyderverse has pretty has pretty much affected these people's brains.
