Didn't realize she had an official name on the show yet. IMDB shows Grace but HBO shows Emily. I'll go with Emily since it helps my theory. :) And the fact we haven't seen nor heard of any other daughter.

She's a host created by Ford to fuck with MIB. This is based solely on the reaction she gave as we've been told she wanted nothing to do with him and blames him for her mother's death. Easy to shoot holes in tho since we saw her being attacked by tiger, etc. Why have all that backstory if she was just a robot.
I was disappointed that Erica's version of Somebody to Love wasn't on there. Can't find it on youtube either.

Wouldn't it make a lot of sense if Rose flew into the ship-cannon? Following in her heroic sister's footsteps? That was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I was fully expecting Rose to jump in front and continue into the cannon.
I found it funny how Kylo specifically states "You had no place in this story". Took it as a nod to what you speak of. He also added "You come from nothing". Someone else in the story came from "nothing".
I believe it was similar printed wallpaper but not identical. As mentioned above, he couldn't lead her to places. He wanted to see if she could lead him. There was always going to be some doubt in his mind about her stories because she starts off lying from jump street.
My real question, tho we assume the answer is they must have been paid off, was why/how did Phoebe's parents say she died a month after Cora left?
Her dad was a janitor (not sure if mentioned in this movie tho). She would not, at that age anyway, be accepted regardless of how she looked. She wasn't apart of any school organization that we could see. The insecure bully girls would have bullied her more because of her looks.
Agreed. In this chapter one, they certainly didn't explore that as much as the mini or the book.
Just a thought but they are in fact dead but will now be able to be found providing closure for their families.

They certainly need to be. I was bored with the adults in the mini-series and I was bored with them in the book. Scaring kids is much more believable than adults I guess.
She's acting in the private sector. She wouldn't be bound by the laws/ethics as a public practice would.
