Same, I found it distracting. Same lol. Anyone who couldn't see the writing on the wall isn't very bright. Dunning Kruger effect is in full force with these liberals. If you think this was a movie about fashion the dim one is you. It used fashion to make a much deeper commentary on vanity. I don't think they left out of boredom but rather disturbance. Like people walking out during the torture scene in Reservoir Dogs. It wasn't about "allowing his officers to do manual labor" it was about getting the Geneva Convention respected. You know, the very convention that tries to make sure that POWs are treated humanely. It's about not letting them take away their rights. They start making officers do labor and then what? Had you paid attention you'd have noticed the soldiers were treated a lot more fairly after the fact. LOL, I didn't remember that! Just watched it because one of my professors recommended it. What a fortunate coincidence! Seems like guys here expected a R-rated movie with explicit torture. Sometimes it works to leave it to the imagination. They aren't shown dying from camp conditions but they make it damn clear that all the prisoners before them died. Didn't you pay attention to what Shears said? Great post man. Dropping an A-bomb on civilians to "save lives"? Don't get me wrong, probably the American death toll was somewhat contained thanks to that, but it was still a war crime. View all replies >
