Totally agree. She's so wooden you can almost see the strings. I can only assume you are young. That physical attraction nonsense will wear off eventually and you'll long for someone who you can hold a decent conversation with and who can also make you laugh. Without her, for me, the show can only get better. I've detested her drippy character from day one. I find Damon Wayans very hard to watch in anything and wasn't opimistic that I would even see out the end of the first season, but Clayne Crawford made the show, without him it'll be nothing. I just skip every scene with Patterson, it makes it a shorter show, but it's much more enjoyable. I'd have used the word "skank", but tramp does the job too. Just binge watched season 3 and came here to say exactly the same. Not much on TV has me sat on the edge of my seat, but this was amazing, nerve wracking TV. I really can't remember the last thing I cried at on TV, be it a series or a movie, but this got me at the end. I see on IMDB it lists a season 4, but I'm torn between wanting it to carry on, or go out with that jaw dropping ending. Whiny, controlling, all me me me. I detest her character. It's certainly forced, very cringe worthy and bordering on fast forward material. I like Seth and Emily, but they have no chemistry whatsoever as a couple. Spot on. Simon brought everything that happened on himself. Even when he knew he'd been found out, he still expected her to keep quiet and not tell their son what a piece of crap he is, so he would have time to sugar coat some BS for the boy. Only thing she let me down on was at the end, when she spoke to the pregnant one in the street, she should have said something like "if he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you" and left her to worry about what the horrid two-timing rat was up to, every time he leaves the house.
