Calling him father fit more since Tyrrell created him. Saying an F-bomb made him seem like a stranger which doesn't fit. Roy strove to be more human and showed it by surprisingly saving Deckard on the rooftop. He was trying to prove it by NOT killing him. I agree..I used to watch this with my buddy fresh on cable while we skipped school and had a hoot with this movie, hasn't aged one bit! I always preferred the international cut of the movie over the theatrical cut. I just couldn't buy that Deckard was a replicant like Ridley wants us to believe in his latter two cuts of this movie. The only thing I liked from the final cut of the movie was when Roy called Tyrell father instead of a cheap explicative. That made the scene more effective and powerful to humanize Roy in that way. I disagree, Spectre was an improvement (but not his best) over this film. If I had to rank the Craig Bonds it would go like this: 1-Casino Royale (his best) 2-Quantum of Solace 3-Spectre 4-Skyfall (his worst) I like that Salvation takes place in the future. I wished T5 would have finished the story but it went in a convoluted direction that just about killed the franchise. I thought Anton Yelchin was a great Kyle Reese in Salvation. It's too bad he's no longer with us to do any more films as Reese. I agree with your assessments of T2 but it's still strong enough not to be the worst Terminator film. T1 (the best) TS T2 T3 T5 (the worst) I saw it today for the first time and liked it too. Visually it's reminiscent of the original and I enjoyed the bleak tone of it. Also enjoyed the added elements to the story of the replicants. The story drags on for a bit in the first third of the film until it picks up momentum later, culminating in a satisfying conclusion. 7 out of 10. Maybe that theme gets explored in FF10 but hopefully FF9 is in the same vein as FF7! Those Boston bullying skills got him some fat paychecks. If he wasn't acting he'd be a loan collector somewhere.. I don't think he was that great of an actor in this series. If it had been Diesel instead of Paul this series would have been sunk since Vin appears to be the face of the F&F franchise. I agree, loved Casino Royale and Goldeneye. Tomorrow Never Dies is my personal favorite, followed by Goldeneye. Then there is a steep drop off with Die Another day, which is only slightly better than the worst Brosnan bond film, The World is not Enough. His personality, I liked it the least of the visible Blofelds. I believe the actor who played Largo in Thunderball voiced Blofeld in For Your Eyes Only. That voice was excellently sinister. The best! As a kid I didn't appreciate it, thought it was too talky with large gaps of inaction. However, I've grown to love this film as an adult. I loved the old style spy antics and the plot points that go to A to B to C nefariously. I grew up on the faster-paced Moore films, which could explain my early aversion to it. It's now definitely in my top five of all-time Bond films. That's what made Thunderball so great, the girls and Largo was Goldfinger's equal as a classic Bond villain. Telly Savalas in O.H.M.S.S. That's what is so stupid about this series. The utter inconsistency of the Blofeld character. In most of the films he is bald yet in others like this one, FRWL and Thunderball, Blofeld has hair. I suppose you can explain that fact away to constant plastic surgery but it's not really implied, except in this movie. BTW Telly Savalas was my favorite version of Blofeld followed by Gray's portrayal of the character and lastly Donald Pleasance. That helpless scenario reminded me of the g force machine in moonraker. To answer your question, differing levels for endurance purposes...
