You're welcome. :-) Yeah, she's really into the show now, at one point she said that she'd love to binge watch it but just hasn't got the time (because of work and other shows she's been doing), so we get more or less one ep a week. I like how she gets the characters and how the scenes between them affect her (for example the John/Sam fight in 'Dead Man's Blood' or Sam/Dean phone talk in 'Scarecrow'), and her thoughts at the end of the videos are always insightful. There's also something so soothing about her that makes me really enjoy watching her. I rewatched it yesterday after 20 years or something and it's still as awesome as I remembered it. I love how the ending is left somewhat open and you could easily see the characters cross paths again someday, especially since Agnes seems to care about Martin in some way after all. Very enteraining and unconventional movie with great actors. I heard of this theory, but you really think that's where they are going, that not only is Elliot Mr. Robot but also Tyrell? Wouldn't that be terribly lame? I just finished the whole show and have to agree, there are not enough shows with these qualities. After two episodes I was hooked and ordered the whole first season, then the others followed. Every patient has something that resonates with me, everyone of them reaches a point where I learn something significant about myself, my own life. I haven't been so impressed by tv writing for a long time. And I too was reminded of 'The Affair' multiple times, which is not surprising since the creators of 'The affair' were involved in 'In Treatmet'. There's even some strong similarities between Paul's backround and Noah's, both had to care for their sick mother and have a difficult relationship with their father. If you are looking for another original tv show that might give you something special check out 'Enlightened'. It only got two seasons but it's still great to watch: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1509004/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Yeah I get what you mean. When I'm really into a show or a movie that I've just seen then I want to stay in that certain atmosphere, I want it to linger until it fades away. I think not many people understand this, but I experienced it often that I fell so much in love with a movie/show that I dreamed of living there, being part of it. So my mind kind of stayed there for a while. Imo it was one of the best story lines if you include what Angelus did to Jenny Calendar and stuff like that; suddenly you understood that the show had taken its gloves off. And I really love 'I only have eyes for you', it's one of my favorite episodes. As I undestood it she shielded him with her body and died to save him. I don't think there has been a show after 'Lost' that has made people as much speculate about what's going on and what this or that might possibly mean like 'Mr. Robot' is doing. Unfortunately the viewers have not moved here.. Your impression of 'Mr. Robot' couldn't be any more wrong - no offense meant. I can understand how you would come to that conclusion after the first episode, but it's something completely else, it's no procedure show. There's a tense story line, and one major aspect are Elliot's psychological problems, his delusions that make you realize that you can't really trust the story through his eyes. There's a Lynchian vibe in many scenes, and some incredible WOW moments that I haven't seen from any other show. I can't even compare it to anything, even though you can easily see a lot of 'Fight Club' in it. In 'Captain Fantastic' (2016) Viggo Mortensen's character raises his kids in the woods, teaching them to be hunters and philosphers, critical of capitalism, the current educational system and the modern lifestyle most people adapt to. The movie doesn't romanticize his views but also shows some dangers and problems that might come with his lifestyle of choice, but it's a much needed film imo. I especially liked the way he always told his kids the plain truth (for example regarding topics of death or sex), trusting them to be fit to cope with it, while other parents would sugar coat or lie to their own. I highly recommend this movie. Oh and there's also the show 'Mr. Robot', which is quite brilliant. :-) View all replies >
