It sounds from Tyrell’s explanation to Batty that 4 years is the optimum they could achieve, bc all the methods Batty suggested (and presumably more) were tested and ended up w the replicant’s biology failing. 4 years wasn’t a design choice, it was the best they could do.

I’ve hadvit myself at a physical therapy clinic. It is SO soothing. They alternate between ice and paraffin wax.
I thought he was supposed to be removing something from the guy’s skin, like a mole maybe, and just started digging crazily. It’s been a while since I saw it, though.
Share them here! He was great, and Melissa McCarthy’s insults to him were the best, especially the one about cutting off his dick and gluing it to his forehead.
Wait. Those Jason Stratham over-the-top quotes were stuff he’d done in other movies? Even funnier than I thought!
And we do get some other goodies in the montage thing at the end that had overhead shot that showed they lured thousands of zombies into a sports arena and blew bombed em. That was pretty awesome. 💥
And really just repeating what they already did.
Glad they didn’t use it. That sounds really dumb.
I think the whole thing with the detective’s name in the book, and her attitude of “so what, it’s bs,” was to show that a lot of the plotlines related to the book were just so much “doesn’t matter, the dead judge was just a weirdo.” Like all this, over nothing.
It’s the reason GOTG movies are Vol I, I, and III.
This was my least favorite GOTG soundtrack, though. Probably bc I’m old.
