Right now there is a glut of boards.
It'll thin down.
But we were told to archive what was important to us.
You need to go after the people at imdb that posted that notice for 2 weeks, dearie

I work in law enforcement
I get to retire in 4 yrs at full pay.
I started on movie boards but ended up on politics. I'd hit the boards of movies I'd just seen or about to see & then gravitate back to the politics board.
But I think Flying monkeys (area51) & IMDb2 got most the politics & soapbox crew.
The problem with the politics board is the soapbox kept raiding up-coming over & posting off topic.

I'm on Colliding_Worlds which is specifically Comicbook, imdb2, area51...here. I have tmdb bookmarked-sdversl, actually. I'll lurk like I did on IMDB for awhile. I'd used the site for movie info since around 1999 never realizing there were message boards & when I did, I lurked for a few months.
I was on the board when they poofed.
My personal messages went away.
Then the movies. I had just watched Victor Frankenstein so I was browsing that board. I went to rate the thing & the board vanished that fast
I have loved Thor & Cap since I was a child of 6 back in 1966 when there was this poorly animated show called Marvel Super Heroes.
I do not like what I see on the comic book sites of what they are doing with either of them in the books.
Thor didn't have to be female. Why would he have to surrender his identity that far, give up the name he was given by his father? The female weilding Mjolnir should have been given a different name.
On the other hand, Jimmy Olsen as a black guy-why not?
I liked Captain Marvel, but they gave him a nice send off graphic novel & made the next one with that name female. They didn't steal his backstory. They gave her one of her own.
That's fine.
I'd love to see the male one because I'd love to get Adam Warlock as well
