Horrid beyond belief

Hated every second. Goldie was right to stay away from this bomb (too bad she didn't stay away from her bomb with Amy Lardass). I watched most seasons of Laugh-in (it starts losing steam around 1972 and its ratings declined then too) on Prime Video last year. There were lots of dated jokes that might not translate well now for younger audiences because of topical references to the era, but most of it consists of wacky jokes, puns, and physical humor that still hold up hilariously well for the most part, edited with a machine-gun rapidity that insured if you didn't like one joke, ten more were lined up after it in quick succession. This odious special with its artificial-sounding laugh track (though shot in front of a real audience) does nothing to honor the memory of this historic show. Do yourself a favor and watch the originals especially from 1967-70. Don't waste your time on this trash.

Is Neil Patrick Harris a computer-generated image? He's everywhere.
