If yanke told her he wanted a divorce (Suggested by his mother) then why did they go looking for her? Yes the baby, but they didn’t know about the baby until moishe checked the cell phone. Before they knew she was pregnant they already went all out planning to go after her. Kind of seems like a slip up in the plot

shareYes. I agree with you. Deep down, the husband wanted a little bit of that freedom she was living. He wanted to see for himself what that is all about. We could see that his feeling for her were real and intensified when he sees her being free, singing, having friends, living a different life. All of the sudden, he was desperate to have her back. That was clear in that scene at the hotel. And it didn't seem to me that his desperation had anything to to with the baby. That's how I saw it, anyways :)
