I think I would have given up the two British guys as well in Ingrid's position
She did a lot for them. She had to take care of her own eventually. The British probably should have put their trust in someone without children to look after.
shareI agree. Britain was not willing to come to Norway's aid if Norway were in need during the war. So why should Norwegians stick their necks out for the British?
