Only saw the trailer and saw the low rating. Couldn't stop laughing at how slow the robot dogs were chasing the little girl as she screamed and ran away before the camera pans to the robot dog slowly chasing after her. Is it just like that throughout the show or do you get to see better aliens?

It's very slow. I'm coming to the end of season 1 and it's still going no where.
