Lord of the Flies with additional females. And - interesting thing - they don't add anything special to the story.

They most definitely added something. The dynamic of heterosexual desire and jealousy that arises from it.

A non-heterosexual desire and jealousy can be found in Lord of the Flies too. No, I mean the women as women don't add any special thing like a certain sensitivity or emotionality to the story. Just primitive lust. And therefore all the scientific education they had was pretty much wasted.

Yeah ... i think the monster was hiding in Colin Farrel's eyebrows! ;-)
There's a lot of holes in here, the but points and ideas are cleverly done.
