The UFO episode was ridicolous

And so out of place with the rest.

Overall very intersting crime mysteries except for that lame one.

reply

Hhmmmm maybe you should be more open-minded. I think these people had already enough people who bullied them, made fun of them and didn't believe them.... so, stfu.. 🙄

reply

I wasn’t expecting the UFO episode either....I did think it out of place with the rest of the series due to the otherwise death - murder, abduction, sexual assault, majorly dysfunctional families etc etc themes which were very depressing.

I found the UFO episode very interesting nevertheless whether I believe them or not.

reply

If you don At the least give them some benefit of doubt, maybe you should pull your head out of your ass a little.

Jeez come on, these people weren't even connected for christ's sake, and they have seen the SAME THING. There's being sceptical, and then there's being an asshole...

@BooBooCat
I’ll take that not as a direct attack on me/my comment...even though you replied to me/mine.... because what I’ve said doesn’t merit any attack.

Since everything is scripted it was exactly like the other episodes.

reply

/Since everything is scripted it was exactly like the other episodes./

Yeah but those were murder/missing persons mysteries so this one feels very out of place.

reply

They were missing too, for like 3 hours. And, then, when they reappeared they were in different spots or whatever.

It's a worthy mystery, but it's probably the least compelling of the new episodes. It would've worked better as a shorter piece on the old show.

reply

I found it very interesting and it is a part of history, whatever the frack that thing was.

reply

I loved that episode. Reminded me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

reply

It didn't seem to serve any purpose other than have the opportunity to retell a shared encounter. I wish they had more investigation regarding this episode but there wasn't anything of the sort. What was the point of telling this story if there's no active investigation?

As for the other episodes it seems the only real agenda with the show is to make the audience suspect certain people who are covered from the dead man's employer to the little girl's mother. It's not like the old show where they ask the audience if they can be of any help. These particular cases really can't rely on that.

Which one? There is the Massachusetts one from Season 1 and the Michigan one from Season 3. The Michigan one was interesting.

reply

Season 1. ! do agree the Michigan one in S3 was at least interesting and they went into further detail.

reply

I believe that the people in Michigan saw something. Maybe an experimental military aircraft, but something that was flying around that night.

I suspect people in Massachusetts were suffering from some sort of mass psychosis. There was a lot of illegal dumping of chemicals and pharmaceuticals back then.
