More light?

I don’t know why, but there are TOO MANY dark scenes in this film. I couldn’t see what was on screen a lot of times, or just see poorly. Not like this is Superhero film where they have to hide poor CGI with dark cinematography.

Liked the film, otherwise. Wayched it on HBO Max.

This seems to be a modern trend that I find highly irritating. "Judas and the Black Messiah" was a very good film, yet its visual look was atrocious with murky and dark cinematography. A dark-complexioned actor like Daniel Kaluuya can scarcely be seen except for the whites of his eyes. In night shots, I found it difficult to make out anything.
