The movie was awesome from my point of view but the only thing I would like to mention is that they didn't explain how Scorpion gets his powers... I though they were given by Quan Chi but after seeing the last scene (where Scorpions beats Quan Chi) I would tell this is highly unlikely. What do you think??

I'm not sure it's ever really flat out explained in the mythos but he gains them as a result of giving himself to Quan Chi's influence/netherealm. This is similar to to Bi-Han/Noob Saibot who gets new abilities post death and the result of giving in to Quan Chi's influence.
