You have to admit, THESE TWO ARE LYING about this

A little background first.

There is a thing called a 'statute of limitations' that says you have 2 years to report sexual abuse. After that, too bad so sad. They are now making it 10 years in california.

Regardless, these two men, in 2013, were WAY TOO LATE.

But there is a legal loophole.

"If a survivor of sexual violence discovers an injury or illness that has resulted from an act of sexual assault, he or she can file a civil action for recovery of damages within three years of the date that the injury was discovered. This is important because psychological injuries and illnesses can appear many years after an incident of sexual violence."

So these two sued. And they presented to the court the story that they didn't understand it as abuse. Grown ass men who apparently were giving and receiving head, watching porn, etc, didn't understand this was abuse, despite police investigating it and the man the most famous "pedophile" in the world.

Not until 2013, with therapy, did they understand it was abuse at all.

LIES!

This is story to get around the statute of limitations.

I watched the Oprah interview and even she was like 'how can you not know it was abuse?' and 'you lied to your first therapist?'

Jimmy had a tale that he got a weird feeling after Wade came out and couldn't sleep and wondered why he was a bad person. Only when he had therapy did he understand it as abuse.

Both said because they pictured their child being abused but left out they had strange sexual feelings.

They are playing as idiots if they think they can say they didn't know what abuse was until 2013.

This is why their case got tossed. It's on appeal.

reply

Personally I believe they are lying, but some football club in England just removed Michael Jackson's statue.

reply

It's sad. The fact that they are suing is reasonable doubt.

reply

this is some serious BS right here... why can't we let MJ rest in peace damnit

reply

“why can't we let MJ rest in peace damnit”

Because child molesters don’t deserve to rest in peace

reply

People who libel others--living or dead--without proof deserve the same. Better be sure you know what you're talking about before making those accusations. Watching a 4 hour doc with lurid details proves nothing.

reply

I'm sure MJ's corpse feels awful about it. They sure showed him!

The only people this is hurting is MJ's family, who are innocent.

reply

Do you think it should be continued to be covered up?

reply

Well, I'm of the opinion that he was innocent, so there isn't anything to cover up. And if he isn't innocent, his image has been tarnished anyway. And because he's dead I think the only thing they stand to gain from this is money (and I have a feeling that they would agree with me on that point)

reply

I believe they're telling the truth, but unlike SOME people, I admit this is an opinion and not some sort of unimpeachable fact.

Look at Jackson himself, don't just pick at the accusers looking for some flaw that you can use to convince yourself they're lying. If you look hard at Jackson himself, you see a textbook pedophile, and one who devoted his money, celebrity, and brains to attracting children and bamboozling parents.

reply

It'a funny how you can choose to believe them that they voluntarily lied under oath maintaining their defense of Jackson under thorough cross examination and are now somehow more likely to be actually telling the truth as they're now chasing the money bag cross examination free one sided hit piece with.

Personally i'm less likely to believe two verified liars in the situation where their ever changing storie were preceded by financial & professional struggles, failed book deals and dismissed 100 million dollar lawsuits.

When it comes to lying greed is the ultimate motivator.

reply

I've looked hard at Jackson over the years, and I'm 99% convinced he was a pedophile.

That doesn't mean I can say I'm absolutely sure what happened at any given moment with any given little boy, which seems to be some people's standard of proof.

But you don't have to be able to say that, to realize someone was a pedophile while they lived.

reply

Yet with no credible facts to support your choosen belief.

reply

Honey, we are looking at two different things. You are looking for the sort of facts that are presented in jury trials, I am looking at a person's character.

FYI being able to accurately assess a person's character is a hell of a lot more useful in real life, than being able to present the sort of facts that are presented in jury trials. In real life, a person has to be able to judge who to trust, who to keep at arm's length, and who to completely disassociate yourself from lest you go down with them... and for the last 30-odd years it's been clear that Jackson fit into the last category.

reply

You're entitled to your conjecture but it's downright evil when people go from that to reckless & harmful actions based on that. Never mind the other blatantly obvious motivations of greed & envy.

reply

You don't realize it, do you. You're judging Safechuck and Robson on the basis of character, personality, inference, and conjecture, while saying it's wrong to do the same to Jackson.

Go ahead and take your time thinking of a response, I'm going to be away from my computer for some hours.

reply

No. Judging them on the bases that no matter how you frame it they are proven liars & have more of an obvious motive to lie now. Throw in how inconsistent their revised stories have been snd I'd have to be an idiot to believe two established liars or indifferent because their current lie fits my desired narrative.

reply

You don't seem to know much, if anything, about child molestation victims. Here, this is a good overview, and explains that children often lie when asked if they were abused.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-G1ICb0GZw

If you want to talk about proven and established liars, let's not forget MJ. He claimed on national TV he had two plastic surgeries, that his appearance changed (including the shape of his face) because he went through adolescence. His lips? No, their appearance didn't change at all. Completely bizarre lies.

His kids? They're his bio kids. Blanket's mom was black.

As though none of us have eyes.

So are you an idiot for believing that established liar, or indifferent, because believing him fits your desired narrative?

reply

Deflections & misinformation. They were grown men when they swore under oath not children.

reply

Wade was 22 last time. James was a child. Regardless, at this point it's clear you not only know little about child molestation victims, you don't want to know anything either. Okay, that's your choice, but it's you who's deflecting.

I gave no misinformation.

reply

Yes, you are. All human beings lie part of the time and tell the truth part of the time, and always have. That's why dealing with people is so complicated and frustrating, human reactions and interactions are never EVER as simple as "He lied before, therefore he is lying now", or "There is a possible financial motive, therefore he MUST be motivated by greed". Neither of those statements are logical, yet that's what you believe and expect others to believe.

You probably don't realize how most humans form opinions: They hear a question, and immediately make a decision based on emotions... and then they start looking for facts, and decide that the "facts" that support their feelings are the only ones they believe.

Everyone does this, whether they realize it or not, but IMHO it's the people who loudly proclaim that their opinions are based on facts and logic who are the worst offenders, they have the least insight into their own decision-making process, and into other people. And yes, if you've decided that Safechuck and Robson are the only people in this scenario who could possibly be lying, then you're only looking at a tiny bit of the whole picture.

reply

I don't even know what you're saying we should admit here. That they must have felt it was abuse earlier? How would you know what's going on in their heads? It's ridiculous to say we could know what another person is thinking. That's just in general. Then there's specific issues about child abuse that make it a particular challenge. Abuse victims can have a really hard time admitting to either themselves or other people what happened to them. As children, they might understand what is happening to them quite differently than they understand it as adults. It's not just about age either, it's about how the relationship with the abuser is defined, and that can change over time and with perspective.

People can take their entire lifetime to come to terms with what happened to them. Some people never do. For you to sit on your high throne and dictate when people are allowed to come to terms with something so personal and painful is an astonishing act of hubris.

reply

Well said!

reply

If they are lying, I don't get what they have to gain by doing so now. They have their own families, dont seem to be hurting for money and at least 1 of them made a name for himself in the industry, and this will disrupt his career one way or another. I knew there were always stories, but having pictures, recordings of the guy staying at their house and calling them on the phone. It makes their stories more convincing. True or not, I just find this whole thing so disappointing.

reply

What do they have to gain apart from millions of dollars like 100 million dollar lawsuit that was dismissed perhaps hoping this fraudumentary will help manipulate public opinion
& sway their appeal

reply

That one guy had the thriller jacket and a lot of other stuff he could have gotten millions for today. Thats more than they would ever see if they won a lawsuit, because the estate isn't gonna just cut them a check. They would file appeals, claim they don't have it, etc., which would take years.

reply

If you're referring to Robson he already sold his Michael Jackson memorabilia (tried to do it anonymously) despite his apparent staged burning of replicas in the smear film.

reply

"...his apparent staged burning of replicas in the smear film."

"Yet with no credible facts to support your choosen belief."

...something, something...

reply

Even Jussie Smollett's story along with his tv interview were way more convincing & sincere "seeming" than these two obvious liars who are exploiting the Michael Jackson defamation/extortion industry

reply

if theyre lying, they are very good actors.
if u look at some of the evidence cops found in michaels possession, u can see he is more guilty than OJ

reply

What evidence was that? It's funny how often people have to resort to talking out of their asses to justify their belief in these b.s. allegations.

reply

Dude, R Kelly ain't an actor but he was pretty convincing. You don't need to be an actor to act your arse off for some money or for good testimony to avoid prison.

reply

Do you think the majority of childhood abuse victims report within 2 years or even report at all? HahahaAhHAHAahhahaha. Good one. Kids don't sit around looking at legal books and coming up with 2 year strategies. They grow up, bury their trauma with alcohol and drugs, and think about their abuser during sex with their wife. That's why so many childhood stars get into drugs. I think one or both of the Coreys got into drugs for that reason if I recall correctly.

Also, a lot of abuse victims feel conflicted about whether or not they care if their abuser gets in trouble. Especially if they consider that abuser their friend. People love their uncles, their parents, their family friends, and their pastors and priests and don't want to see them get in trouble even if that person hurt them. I know someone that was raped by their dad from the time she was 9 to the time she was 14. She told me she would have never wanted to deal with going to a court room at the age of 9. Too bad so sad for her I guess.

reply

Justin Bieber is back in rehab and shit - it's not the abuse but rather a messed up childhood that gets you there.
These kids come from broken families - their daddies offed themselves sometime after the divorce - their parents scared them more than anything else.

reply

No, I don't have to admit it because I don't believe it.

Do you understand the point of therapy, and that things often surface during it that wouldn't otherwise? Do you think it's uncommon that there are things people aren't ready to address and so avoid telling their therapists?

What strange sexual feelings? This is the first I've heard mention of this. What is your source?

Their case got tossed because of the statute of limitations, and no other reason.
