Was a lot better than I was expecting. Although repeating the same day theme has been done before.

reply

That is true. But they for sure put there on mark on the concept.

reply

No doubt, I was intrigued the whole time. Going to watch it again to see if I missed anything the first time.

Was also wondering if anyone else accidentally stumbled into cave? I was kind of expecting other people to reveal at the end of the movie that they were also stuck in the time loop.

reply

I'd watch a sequel.

reply

I'm pretty sure they implied that Nana (June Squibb) was also trapped there.

reply

Interesting you noticed that too, I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure. Will have to watch that scene and movie again to see if I can gain any more insight.

reply

I noticed the same thing.

reply

Yep, she was stuck there. At her age I'd stay indefinitely too.

reply

It's 2020 though, what hasn't been done before?

reply

I know, just saying repeating the same day genre has been done before. This movie was much better than I expected and Samberg was great as well, showed more range as an actor.

reply

This movie was awesome. I was expecting drivel. Pleasantly surprised.

reply

Are there hot scenes with Cristin?

reply

Not really, just see her in a bra.

reply

There's one very brief upskirt

reply

i concur, 7/10 . made me lol, kept me interested, and i cared about the characters

reply

I liked it way more than I expected. Loved the chemistry between Cristin Milioti and Andy Samberg and the sci-fi angle was really unexpected yet great.

reply

thought i would hate it, but i like the first 45 minutes, looks like it may get sappy from here on in, we shall see ..

reply

I thought it did not get as sappy as it could have...the scientific angle was surprising.

reply

good to know. will finish it on saturday

reply

really good.

reply

I thought so, was a lot of fun. Loved his hilarious dancing scene and when he was mirroring his girlfriend speaking.

reply

I liked it too! Was very pleasantly surprised. Cristin Milioti was really great! Hope she starts to take off and we see a lot more of her! Sandberg did a really good job as well.

I think just with the world the way it is now, I seem to find myself more drawn to movies that deal with mortality these days, and people wondering what they are doing with their lives.

Anyways, I really enjoyed this.
