Glad they went with Quintus being a realistic villain rather than cartoonish

In reality the real villains are someone like your boss. Someone you may partially respect, but whose bad side you don’t want to cross.

Add a bit more self-righteousness into him and he’s possibly the best tv villain since The Governor in The Walking Dead.

He's a little bit of an over-actor but I like the portrayal of Quintus. He's fun.

And as I think you're saying here, he's only kind of vaguely villainous. He's not running around skewering Jews with spears and putting their heads on pikes, but at the same time you know that he's the opposition.

Negan is just ok. But The Governor is worse because he brainwashes people into thinking that he’s altruistic.

Negan is a lot of things, but he’s not a misinformation machine.
