I'm a big fan of the first Doctor Strange film, and I enjoy a good horror movie, so Multiverse of Madness seemed like it would be tailor-made for me. Instead, it felt… vaguely disappointing? Don't get me wrong, it was fun watching a horror-influenced superhero film, and Xochitl Gomez was great as America Chavez.

I liked it a lot, but was disappointed in that it is advertised as the first Marvel horror film and while there are horror elements it is another superhero fantasy film. Maybe more evil Strange and less Christine would have helped. Also loved this version of America Chavez and the actress who played her.
You know if Marvel would establish an animated film series they could do like DC does with elseworld stories. Then a horror
film would be easier to do.
I would have liked more humor, or any humor at all, but well, I had Zombie Strange! That was wonderfully weird.
But that's the thing about Marvel, some of their sub-franchises have a lot of humor, and some are much more serious. The various Captain America shows and films are at the more serious end of things, Thor and Loki are probably the funniest. Strange is towards the serious end of things, Wong is the only person around with a sense of humor.
