Is the multiverse going to be

a result of the time travel in Endgame or something new and separate?

This is from well over a year ago. But it raises some good points. And Wanda Maximoff is widely rumored to be the villain, and even being manipulated by Mephisto (who's supposed to appear in WandaVision).

Wanda manipulated again? Kinda getting tired of excuses for her. If they're gonna make her bad, make her bad.

I can see her being responsible for the multiverse though, yeah.

In the comics, she started off as a villain and years later, was manipulated again. These events were spaced out over decades but with the movie condensing a lot of storylines, it appears she is going through the hero-villain revolving door a bit more.

I wouldn't mind her going crazy and becoming a full fledged villain.

through an unfortunate series of muddled retcons over the years, they made Wanda into the ultimate blame displacer who's never responsible for her own actions which is a terrible slight to womanity. and it looks like they're taking her MCU version in the same direction.

I’d say they’ll have a good chance of making the multiverse full of families Characters from past pre-MCU movies, aside from the heavily rumored returns of both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, and alternate versions of established MCU characters played by different actors (Tom Cruise as Iron Man, John Krasinski as Cap, Liam Hemsworth or Alexander Skarsgaard as Thor, Emily Blunt as Black Widow, etc).
