The Mandarin, take 2

For real this time!

That reveal is probably the MCU's one true fuckup. Not a simple mistake. A fuckup. They had a great interpretation of a classic villain and just pull the rug out for Guy Pearce? No thanks.

The Guy Pearce character is dead.

And he shouldn't had been the main villain. Kingsley was perfect.

It is time... to bring it! But Mandarin aside, everything about this film is exciting me (btw the usual detractors/trolls on these boards can F off).

As far as IM3’s “Mandarin” goes, truth be told I never had that big of an issue with it. Although the reveal was underwhelming, I didn’t become haunted by it. In fact, I strangely appreciated it at the time — mainly because I kept hope that one day Tony would eventually come face to face with the real Mandarin, but... alas. But yeah, I’d be lying if I said that the whole Slattery business never amused me. At any event, psyched for Shang-Chi!
