I absolutely loved this film!

I've seen the stage show four times and I was really nervous about seeing the film because I'd heard such horrible things about it. But boy was I surprised! Platt was incredibly effective in the title role (I've seen him twice on stage) and the rest of the cast was equally excellent. A very powerful and moving film. Don't listen to the critics, see if for yourself.
