I was just discussing this with a friend. I love Ben Platt, but he is too old. They should have cast Sam Tutty. Just because someone originates a role it doesn't mean that they are always the best one for it.

Hard to disagree, you are likely right. He is too old for the role now. I have never seen the stage play, but I recall when Platt performed “Waving Through a Window” on the Tony’s, it blew me away.
