TharI just watched it and the first thing I thought of was - it was so nice to watch a movie without all the regular tokens. No mixed couple, no gay couple, no black people thrown in just because they have to have someone black in it. I'm not racist and could care less if your gay. It's just ridiculous that almost EVERY movie or show has to check the all the boxes. You'd think

The character really only exists so George and Margaret have somewhere to take a breath after George is released from hospital and so Margaret has someone else to rope into helping her.

Could have been any race but by making them Indian they get to SJW preach a little in regards to Indian schools etc.

lol yeah. people in this thread. The fact that he was native american fit with the setting. And his own backstory complements the themes of legacy and familial connection established by the blackledges and the weboys.
