They Never Showed how Jesse Escaped from Todd

Did I miss it? They never showed how Jesse escaped from Todd, or how he killed him. The last thing they showed between Todd and Jesse is Jesse taking Todd's gun out of the glove compartment and then giving it back to Todd.

The movie wasn't in chronological order, that scene was also a flashback, they showed Jesse killing Todd in the series finale.

They didn't show it in the movie and the only way to know what happened would to be to remember or re-watch the series finale from 6 years ago. I watched the show, but as I said, it was 6 years ago. All the flashbacks they could have included this.

It was on the news

It was in the recap they show when you first start the movie. Besides, Jesse killing Todd and escaping the Nazis was how the entire series ended. How did you not remember that?

reply

You dont have to remember anything from the series realise it was a flashback and he got away later.

Surely everyone remembers that jessie escaped in the last episode when Walt showed up?
I didnt remeber the specifics - i didnt remember Jesse strangleing Todd . still cant . but that didnt confuse me watching the flashback bit in the movie

reply

Uhh did you not watch the series? It's a continuation of the series with certain flashbacks, they can't show you the entire series because you have bad memory or can't be bothered to rewatch the show.

Hell, my wife only watched the show once back in 2013. She and I binged the whole thing in a month. While I've had many marathons of it since then, she had only ever watched this show and even SHE remembered that Jesse had strangled Todd in that finale.

Not to sound rude or anything, but why in the world would you bother watching a movie sequel to the series and NOT at least somewhat catch yourself up with the source material going in? Hell, the damn thing featured a recap of the series in the very beginning. What did you do? Skip past it? If your memory is that fuzzy, why didn't you try to acquaint yourself with at least the finale before watching this? Hell, you could have read a synopsis.

You don't really have anyone to blame but yourself for confusion here.
