Jesse Plemons could've lost some weight!

I just wanted to say that it felt weird seeing flashbacks with Todd looking very different than the way we last saw him in the finale. And apparently it was just his weight. Everything else could be fixed with some make up or cgi.

Everything else looked perfect. We all know the actors are older now, but that's not something you can fix going back in time (even though, there's always make up and computer graphics). Losing weight, though, is totally manageable! Come on.

Do you agree?

reply

Maybe Todd had allergic reaction to Bacon Bean soup.

reply

Hahahaha... that's possible :)

reply

So that's what he was eating. I thought he was eating those Chef Boyardee spaghetti-os, and had the gall to call that soup.

reply

Todd looked like he did in ganenight and acted that way also

reply

That's true. He was different. And that is a funny movie. I'm gonna watch it again soon! :)

I loved Game Night, such a fun movie. Jessie killed his part. I loved it.
I especially loved the end credits scene with a thoroughly laid out plan on a board :D

reply

hahahaha... yes... I forgot all about it. That's a funny ending.
I lost it in that scene when Jason Bateman is trying to remove the bullet from his arm and McAdams finds two holes in it. hahaha... I remember crying from laughing to that scene.

I guess this post was supposed to be about Jesse in El Camino and we changed it! hahaha
It's all good movies!

Cheers! :)

Soup has calories!

It's one of those things I always wonder why certain actors seem unable or unwilling to lose weight for roles when they really should like in this case.

reply

I know some actors don't agree to lose and gain weight for roles in movies just because they can! I heard Tom Hanks said he would no longer change his looks to fit any roles due to some health problems. But he's Tom Hanks! hahaaha

I don't think Jesse Plemons could demand that.
But hey, maybe he also has some health problem which prevented him from losing weight this time. Who knows.

Thanks for your comment.

Ah, right. That's why, then. I did not know that. Just watched the trailer. It's a big one, that's probably the reason.
Thank you :)

That did really take me out of it although Plemmons pulled me right back in with his deranged singing while riding through the desert LOL

I had to rewind that awesome scene!

reply

LOL... I watched it twice as well! That was priceless! There was no way they'd leave him out of the movie. It was just perfect. His creepiness combined with his calmness made it all worthwhile. :)

I already posted this, stop copying me

METH DAMON -->> FAT DAMON

The explanation of why he was so heavy is simple: He played a lot of roles since Breaking Bad that called for a heavier actor, so he gained weight and didn't have time to lose it for El Camino:

From one of the articles I read on his obvious weight gain:

It wasn’t the only movie he was part of where he needed to carry weight, in the Miniseries 'Fargo,' he played a fat character, which is why he was unable to lose weight. Then he appeared in another limited series 'Black Mirror' where, in series four’s first episode 'USS Callister,' he played a fat game developer. The weight went perfectly with the role, which is why there was no reason to trim down.
