Did Todd himself hold white nationalistic views?

Since it was such a long time since I've seen Breaking Bad, I forgot Todd joined up with the Neo-Nazi gang. But was Todd just doing this out of convenience and personal gain, or did the show establish that he was an racist himself?

When he gave that brief, awkward eulogy to the housemaid out in that desert, I couldn't tell if he was getting slightly compassionate towards other ethnicities and fellow human beings, or he saw her as so below him, that she didn't really deserve many words.

He seemed to describe the pizza and beers with more descriptive passion than the innocent life he just took.

his uncle's gang

reply

He and his uncle were definitely Trump supporters.

REEEEEEEEEE gotta find a way to bring Trump into it don't you? Bet you can't get through the day without being butt hurt by all his winning.

Big talk from an Argentinian

Trump derangement syndrome strikes again.

I don't think Todd held any particular views or feelings toward any group.
Everyone was equally as disposable and dependent on their usefulness to him.
When his maid discovered his money she lost her usefulness.

reply

And he had nothing but kind things to say about her.
Todd was an odd cat. I got the feeling that he racism isn’t something he personally wasn’t capable of.

reply

Todd never showed any signs in BB that he was racist, even if he belonged to his uncle's neo nazi gang. Maybe he has same views too, maybe not, but in TV show they never showed to us, not even once, that makes me assume that he didn't have same views as his uncle and his gang.

reply

Everyone, at the very least, even if they won't admit it, is a bit of a bigot.

reply

That doesn't equal being racist

reply

I think he is more of a sociopath who has a particular loyalty to family and friends. He went along with his uncle’s gang out of duty but didn’t seem all that bothered about killing people either.

reply

Todd didn't think about things like that, it would be interesting to see a diagnosis of him. I think there is definitely some weird shit going on with him.
