My my my how people are quick to forget Breaking Bad

I finally caught El Camino over the weekend and found it fully engaging but entirely in sync with the now ended series. There were no new narrative plot points or a change in story telling as I was expecting there to be and the various little twists throughout the movie seemed pretty typical for the Breaking Bad universe.

I'm not sure I found this movie unnecessary and boring as other reviews have opined about, and really did give us more background into Jesse Pinkman's fate. What is there really to complain about?

I just wish Vince Gilligan could have done what he did here with Better Call Saul's storyline. That series has just been played out so much it's almost like they're pushing Jonathan Banks into the grave, and Bob Odenkirk's looking really silly with the youth makeup and wigs.

I'm more interested in Jimmy's stint as Gene in Nebraska. It's time to move forward.
