Where was the scene with Skinny Pete getting interrogated?

Did they cut that from the movie?

reply

Well I guess the question is did they cut it or was it only ever meant to be part of the promotional teaser for the movie? I'm thinking the former.

reply

Could have been cut, but then they decided to repurpose it.

I was waiting for it just like you. Skinny Pete is one of my favorite characters. Was hoping we'd get to see him one last time outside the beginning of this movie.

reply

I think that was a scene just shot for the trailer.

reply

If so, that's piss weak... was waiting the entire movie for that scene. That's some bad clickbait if that's what they did....

reply

I wanna see him play the piano.

reply

It was likely filmed for the teaser only - many films have teasers or trailers that are not part of the film.
Notice that the look of the clip was different from the rest of the film.

Why did Skinny need Badger to drive a completely different car away? Skinny said something like, "drive it to the mexican border." What's the point of doing this?

reply

They were gonna tell the cops that Jesse left the El Camino and took Pete's T-bird and they didn't know where he went. Then a few days later the T-bird would be found, and the cops would assume Jesse went to Mexico and dumped the car before he crossed the border. That's why he told Badger not to let anyone see him in the car.

i think both the interogation teaser aswell as the teaser where jesse sits in the car smoking a ciggarette was promo stuff,
both those scenes had different aspect ratio from the movie, and in the car teaser jesse had shaved head even he didnt drive the el camino after shaving the hair off

reply

I assumed it was just additional footage filmed purely for the teaser, possibly by Netflix themselves and not Vince, which would explain why it felt so cheezy and forced.

reply

I highly doubt that - the cinematography was at a high level and identically matched the film.
