Should this have been an FBI priority?

I figured early on that this was really more entertainment than a serious documentary... after that point I was able to enjoy the humor and appreciate the tone.

Seems like the FBI dedicated a lot of effort to this, but people are embezzling billions and people are getting killed. How important is $20 million in the larger scheme... I'm sure medicare fraud in Florida alone dwarfs this. What about the other stuff the mob was doing??
