If Wanda is so powerful... (SPOILER)
Wouldn't it have been easier to simply repair/fix vision? I am assuming she built the entire alternate reality to be with him.

I think she's just snapped mentally and is somewhat unaware of what she's doing. Perhaps she's being coerced to do some things she's not aware of? Agnes is the key to that.

The thing I was looking for was the cast list - when they were identifying people and taping their headshots to the wall, Agnes wasn't there. I am guessing she is outside of Wanda's creation. The rumor is she's Agatha Harkness, so maybe she's teaching Wanda subconsciously or something. So, yes, Wanda is doing all this and is the antagonist, but someone somewhere is subverting the situation.
Marvel has definitely taken the pick and choose approach to adaptation, but I'd say its more inspired by House of M than a true adaptation. Even in house of M, it was Magneto pulling the strings through Wanda, so i imagine it will be a similar situation, even if its a different character. I don't think we will find anyone behind it with villainous intentions. I can't wait to find out though!.
shareAh, Burk, exactly. We see eye to eye for the most part. They definitely picked and chose parts of House of M. We won't get "No More Mutants" or anything but they definitely got the general idea from that.
As far as villainous intent, I think it's too early to tell but I right now they want us to think it's just Wanda doing all this. However, I think Agnes is coercing this or playing along a bit and is clearly aware of what is going on, and I have no idea what her intention is. Some have speculated Mephisto will show up (Dottie? or her husband who we haven't seen yet?) and that this will tie into the next Dr. Strange movie. We'll see. I love how this is going and leads to so much speculation.
Frankly, I'm actually surprised Pietro hasn't shown up alive like Vision, or her parents for that matter.
