Surprising pleasure!

I can't think of movies like St. Elmo's Fire without blushing of shame on the behalf of the so called actors in the (in)famous Brat Pack. But Lowe did a fine job in The West Wing, and then sort of faded out in nothingness on my behalf, and now I know I need to look up some other of his more resent works. It took me with great surprise when the man starred in a mini police show so different as Wild Bill. Cultural differences, father/daughter conflict but never irritating or cliché. Much humor, often terrible serious crimes to solve and internal issues. And a whole lot of humanity to relate to. I hope for a season 2 if they can deliver and develop this quality.
