It will underperform

Sequels are tough anyway, but considering the first one was really not that good, I don't think the WOKE aspect will be enough to make this the hit that the first one was. This actually has a lot of shit working against it. Good, the first BP got a pass on all of its flaws because it was "important?" (many of the reviewers term, not mine), so it needs to own up to the actual lack of quality.

Seems a bit negative...

You may be right about it underperforming, but it’s really not a shocking statement these days, like it’s hard enough for films to get a cinema release, let alone for a movie to attract an audience like it may of pre-COVID.

I don’t think its success or failure will have anything to do with the political shit you’re flinging at it here.

reply

It comes out in 2022, shouldn't be any issue with it being released. Also, I'm flinging social shit, not political.

reply

REALLY?... YOU DONT THINK THE "WOKE" ASPECT WILL BE ENOUGH...ARE YOU TRYING TO SOUND LIKE A MORON?...OR IS THAT JUST HAPPENING ON ITS OWN?🤔

reply

A good post from you. Wow, what a surprise. Keep it up, buddy

In memory of the immortal legendary and incomparable Chadwick Boseman, and the fear of BLM looting and rioting, every critic will give the next Black Panther film 5/5 stars.

reply

Was he really even a particularly good actor, if we're being honest?

reply

Yeah he was good in Da Five Bloods and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Unfortunately died before his career started to take off.

reply

I liked him in 42. He did well in that film.

reply

That is rich. So basically you have the perfect excuse to dump on the movie before it gets released. If it gets good reviews it will only be because of Chadwick's death.

reply

Yes. Because it is true.

reply

Rather silly. Glad to know you have the perfect scapegoat to bail you out as opposed to actually coming up with logical reasons...

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID.🏢

I think it will underperform because there is superhero film fatigue and a general unwillingness of the public to go back to the theater even though things have largely opened back up. We will have to see what its like in 2022 when this film is released.
