You'll get over it. I mean, if you grew up into your 20s or 30s and still felt this way, that would be a sad thing indeed.
Meanwhile, Rain aside, you never did mention how you liked this film (Knives Out). Ever seen The Brother's Bloom? It's really a great film.

Meanwhile, Ruin Johnson aside, you never did mention how you liked this film (Knives Out). I personally found it overrated. Have you ever seen Looper? It's really a great film.

You are correct which is why it needed to be corrected, not made worse..
I'd leave it alone personally. The mandalorian is getting good reviews now, but that probably wont last. Like a lot of shows, you may get 3 good seasons before it gets bad. If they stop making Star Wars for a bit, they can let the oversaturation dry up a bit and work on a better product. Of course, that could lead to the same result.
