LOL! They killed this entire series in the opening scene by adopting a pro-illegal alien, anti-American stance.

Killed it for me at least. That's actually impressive. I usually give an interesting looking new show several episodes to an entire season even if it sucks, and I had been looking forward to this one more than usual for months due to the previews, but that opening scene was so obnoxious and stupid I turned it off and have zero desire to watch any more. At least it saved a lot of wasted time.

it was almost the tipping point for me...luckily for the show i was getting my breakfast ready so didn't have immediate access to the remote & left the show playing,
i'd say it's the worst opening to a crime show i've ever witnessed, & at this point i think i will continue to watch just to see what other crazy out-of-character for a LEO type of stances or situations will arise

The premise for the show looked good.

But...as a former Orange County (CA) deputy sheriff, and who had a lot of buddies on LASD, I heartily agree. My wife and I were looking forward to the series, watched S1E1, and vowed to never watch it again.
