...apparently. :-) I guess that the writers thought that the casino planet was so "exciting" in "The Last Jedi" that they just had to come up with their own version for "Picard."

Yeah, because TLJ invented casino settings.

Not lots of space casinos, are there? If so, I must have missed them. But, what I got a kick out of, was taking the most superfluous part of "Last Jedi" and using it for "Picard."
