93% on RT, Another win for CBS and Fans

Everyone loves it

8.6 on Imdb, 100 positive reviews.

Metacritic: critics 78, users 7.4. https://www.metacritic.com/tv/star-trek-picard

reply

Yeah, Metacritic is much more the place to go for objectivity. RT has become more agenda driven.

reply

Imdb takes off: 8.9 with 4000 votes. MC users down to 6.9, but only 13 votes.

reply

MC users down to 6.5, because 6 of 22 ratings are negative. No negatives from critics.

reply

MC users down to 4.4 with 244 votes. The Troll Babies have been busy!

reply

So 93% in the RT Wokeness index.

Confirmed: it's woke

reply

RT is Irrelevant. All they do is change their site to fit their agenda.

reply

Well, "Force Awakens" and "Last Jedi" got high scores too. So, that only tells you so much. Remember, critics usually just want something that's different. It doesn't usually matter if it is good different or mediocre different.

I thought the first episode was fine. But, there is so much backstory packed into it, and so much not seen that I think they could have explored that in more detail.

reply

They don't care about different, they care about their political agenda being pushed. If it's "woke" it gets a positive review, end of subject.

reply

Entertainment Weekly had a bad reveiw

reply

Nothing is a win when Alex Kurtzman in charge.

reply

Absolutely correct.

reply

I totally understand the objections against the show. Youtube reviewers are crapping all over it. But I really enjoyed episode 1.

reply

RT critics up to 95%, average 8.1. RT audience 82%, average 4.1/5 = 8.2.
The only outlier is MC users, because only 22 votes with 6 negative.

reply

RT critics down to 87%, average 7.7. RT audience 62%, average 3.4/5 = 6.8. Trolls should be happy now!
