A straight alpha male wouldn't give a shit. Do you watch porn? There are lots of penises in porn and most of them are shown erect. Funny that a bunch of floppy dicks in a shower make you uncomfortable. Most guys just don't care about seeing such things, but you took the time to write a post about it. Something is off here.

Probably it's a way to introduce male characters that are not psychopaths. Right now, if you wanna introduce some male character that it's not a psychopath, he must be either gay, black, Arab or Hispanic. Here they chose gay, but they could have chosen to make them black.

White heterosexual males in media are by default psychopaths or rapists. If they're blond, they're psychopaths and rapists. And that's becoming a bit repetitive... so it makes sense that they try to avoid it.
