I felt bad for the dog!

It was loved by the owner. However I prefer to keep my hound inside during the night. My Wiener sleeps in my bed.

Old Hollywood trick. If you kill a dog you must be a bad guy/girl.

reply

Dog started it first. It attacked doll and girl. It was mean and angry. Owner should have keep him on a leash or inside the house. And they both would be alive.

Whats shocking was that police did nothing after child was attacked by a dog.

reply

Actually meghan crossed the property line and stuck her hand onto some else's property.

reply

Did you miss the part when Gemma and her niece arrived at her house for the first time and dog jumped at the car and started barking violently? Because dog escaped its owners property and went rogue, running around neighborhood? And apparently dog did it very often. But owner did nothing.

When people have "runner dogs", those who dont want to sit in their place and keep running - its owners duty to make sure dog is not escaping property. Specially if that dog attacks people.

reply

Ok, but we are not talking about prior incidents. We are talking about the one instance Meghan and Katie crossed over into someone's else's property.

Is the only way the dog can get out though Gemma's broken fence?

Judge Judy would tell Gemma, fix your fence and dont stick your hands onto other people property.

reply

Its wasnt the one accident that made Megan kill dog. Its was numerous accidents that led to it. Dog kept barking and being menace. Movie showed it. And did they explain why it was Gemmas fence and why it was broken? Who broke it? Wasnt it their mutual fence?

Dog should not attack anyone even if someone would cross property. When those people are not thieves. Specially when its neighbors. If dog is that dangerous then it should be on a leash.

reply

Weak rebuttal...

Dog kept barking??? A dog is allowed to bark on it's own property.
They didn't have to explain why it was Gemma's fence. It was just clearly stated it was her fence and Gemma seemd to fully agree. Gemma did not dispute the claim at all as the fence was probably clearly on her side of the property line.
And now you want guard dogs who protect property to distinguish who is a thief or not before they attack someone on their own property?

reply

Dog was frequently wondering around Gemmas property. Gemma doesnt need to put fence around her property at all. Its her property and neighbor knew it. Yet her dog was walking and attacking Gemma and her guests. Episode where niece comes to her home.

Per yours logic Gemma was allowed to put it down and attack? If neighbors dog was frequently trespassing Gemmas property then it was dogs owner to ensure dog would not do that.

That whole thing with fence didnt not make sense at all. And whole Gemma not fixing fence. Writers just needed to have an excuse to kill dog and owner. I wish they would just not make it look so stupid with hole in a fence. They should have made dog just jump over the fence like dogs do. It would look more realistic.

reply

The hole was so generic and kinda lazy production.

Gemma does not have to put a fence around her property, but there was and her responsibly to fix it.

Besides one scene, do we ever see the dog trespassing?

And if a violent dog was attacking on Gemma's property , she would have every right to use a legal weapon to defend herself.

reply

I think that Gemma mentioned it when dog attacked car. That dog keeps running on her property.

reply

Hear say, need some proof, witness , photos or something

reply

you literally saw it in the movie.

reply

Saw what?

reply

The dog being agressive on Gemma's property.

reply

It is not Gemmas responsibility to keep other people's dogs out. It is the dog owners.

reply

Did we see the dog off its property?

reply

Yes, twice. Once when she returns home, once a bit later in the movie.

reply

Judge Judy would tell Gemma the dog will be put down and the owner fined for biting the kid.

reply

Yeah, how lazy are those two women? Just leave a hole in the fence forever, so the dog can escape and maim someone?

reply

Forget the dog, I felt worse for myself that I wasted two hours on this derivative, predictable and insanely overrated movie.

I’m all for dumb fun, but this was just dumb, no fun. I seriously don’t get the hype.

reply

I thought it was alright but suffered from being cut to get a pg13 rating. I think it lived up to the little bit of hype it had. I'd watch a sequel.

reply

I’m glad you enjoyed it but I was irritated from first frame to last. Each to their own I guess 🙂

reply

I watched it in drunken company, that may have helped.

reply

Ha! Love it.

reply

That dog was mean and would have hurt somebody badly eventually. Should have been put down anyway.

reply

THIS

reply

well even though im both a cat and dog lover, the old lady and her dog had it coming since she really didnt learn to control her dog

reply

I don't. the dog did more than deserved it. In fact just for biting that girl the police should have taken it away to be put down. The movie writers didn't knew that i suppose.

reply

How big is your Wiener?
