So the role model for an empowered woman is a bull dyke...

Does anyone not see the irony in this? Empowerment is being a woman that looks like a dude... Not sure I understand that logic.

reply

Luckily, I avoid CW shows actually written by the CW's idiot writers like the plague, so she means nothing to me.

reply

I don’t think you know what a “bull dyke” is.

Hint: Ruby Rose isn’t it.

reply

She doesn't have the masculine body, but she has the masculine mannerisms. Either one puts a lesbian in the bull dyke category.

reply

Ok, incel...

reply

Hey, it's the new "it" word of the moment that needs to be said every 3 seconds on this site. Incel...You got him there. Yay!

reply

So “incel” is being overused, but “cuck”, “snowflake”, and “libtard” are still in good use? Someone sounds like a little snowflake.

reply

They're all ridiculously overused.

Funny how you only pick the ones insulting liberals. The other ones are ok, right?

Good old political hypocrisy at it's finest.

Oh man, you called me a "snowflake". Ouch. Lol.

Enjoy "Batwoman", I'm sure you'll love it.

reply

Don't feed the racist troll.

Some other greatest hits from Thomas:

"Racism as you put it, is a natural thing that has been genetically imprinted into every human."

reply

Well, actually that happens to be true: humans are programmed to prioritize people that are closer genetically.

About that subject, you could find interesting The Selfish Gene from Richard Dawkins

reply

"a lesbian of masculine appearance or manner."

Sorry, bro. You picked a weird hill to die on.

reply

She’s a lesbian model with short hair.

If you’re threatened by this chick’s, ah, “masculinity”, it says more about you than her appearance, bruz...

LOL

reply

Im not, but you clearly have an issue with employed language. I didnt say it was good or bad, simply that the choice of term to associate with her was correct. Like I said, you've picked a weird hill to die on.

reply

And like I said, defining a slim lesbian model as “masculine” because of a short haircut says more about your personal definition of masculinity than anything else.

Clearly you have issues... with your own masculinity.

Weird hill to die on.

LOOOOOL

reply

Sooooo, youre just another LordBAElish. Awesome. This place sure does attracted the trolls.

reply

he said:
"a lesbian of masculine appearance or manner."
see the "or manner" bit?
it was said earlier in the thread , by the OP "she has the masculine mannerisms."

reply

I said: “She doesn’t.”

Next.

LOOOOOL

reply

I don't know, that seems unnecessarily derogatory, as if being masculine in mannerisms (which I'm not entirely convinced Ruby Rose is anyway) or being a lesbian is somehow a negative thing. The two words that come to mind when I think of Ruby are "Kick" and "Ass" which I think should be the core quality of any screen action hero. Totally ready to give her the benefit of the doubt for this one myself.

reply

ROTFLMAO 😂

reply

That’s the way, laughter is good for the soul 👍

reply

Indeed this modern feminism is anti-women

reply

I've only heard that pejorative used in urban environments, "Bull Dyke". 🤣 Also it's more ancient history. Just the word "Dyke" seems to have replaced it and is more acceptable? You know, that whole take the power out of the word by taking control of it.

reply

Yes. You have to check the boxes: castrating, lesbian, anti-male, look like a dude, etc.

reply

I just responded to the original post, but it seems you're making a point similar to his. Am I mistaken? Is Elizabeth Anweis not playing Batwoman? She looks nothing like a man at all. What is your problem with her being chosen for the role?

Edit-- looks like the actress listed here as if she is the lead is not playing Batwoman. Ruby Rose, another actress I've never heard of, is. As with Anweis, Rose looks nothing like a man. She's slim, feminine, quite attractive. I can't imagine anyone seeing her and thinking she's male!

reply

They all have to be thin and close to flat-chested. That way, they don't threaten women, who think their men will be attracted to them, and men are more accepting because they can't handle curvy, feminine women.

reply

I see you have it all figured out. What a blessing to have you in the world, telling us how others think.

reply

Pretty easy. Humans are simple creatures, like you.

reply

I see the actress playing Batwoman is Elizabeth Anweis. I'm not familiar with her, but a Google search shows me a woman who looks nothing "like a dude" whatsoever. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't understand your problem with the casting.

Is a fairly typical photo of how she looks most of the time.... And if you think that's feminine and quite attractive then more power to you... most people have higher standards than that.

And yes she has sometimes made her face look decent, but you slop enough makeup on a pig and you'll make it look pretty.

reply

How about you post a photo of yourself then Thomas so the whole internet can rate your attractiveness or level of masculinity? Or do you just reserve that for pigs who've slopped makeup on as you so eloquently put it?

Ruby's not your type, so be it, but forgive me if I don't take yours as the last word on what people should and shouldn't find attractive. I know many men and women who find Ruby hot, and many that wouldn't, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter because what she looks like should be secondary to what she can bring to a role.

I'm not holding great hopes for Batwoman, but I hope Ruby does well. She has a real star presence.

reply

So using a woman's picture to rate her level of femininity and then her attractiveness is morally wrong and sexist and nazi, but using a man's picture to rate his level of masculinity and then his attractiveness is totally right and you're even willing to volunteer, isn't it?

Sounds like a double standard. Not that it surprises me.

reply

Wait, when did I say it was sexist or nazi? If you post a photo then liken the person to a pig you deserve to be asked if you would like the same treatment. Let’s not be disingenuous, the photo wasn’t posted to discuss her attractiveness, it was posted in support of the suggestion that she’s an ugly bull dyke. That’s a dick move and would be towards anyone.

reply

She's an actress. She's not some anonymous Jane Doe whose image has been doxed or anything like that. She sells her bloody image for a living. And you think that judging her image is wrong, that very same image that she sells professionally?

Dude, the way SJW go, in a few years you'll make Ultra-Christians look like a bunch of moderate open-minded guys...

reply

Yes every public figure deserves to be bullied online. They asked for it.

As for SJW, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Dude.

reply

Aha, so writing a f*cking comment in a public forum saying that a public professional worldwide actress doesn't look feminine or attractive in a public professional portfolio picture of her is 'online bullying'.

Holy shit.

As a said, the way SJW go, in a few years you'll make Ultra-Christians look like a bunch of moderate open-minded guys...

reply

Funny how you try to make this about me instead of sticking to the point that was made. She isn't feminine or attractive... Photo point that out is given to you in a link and yet you don't try to explain where what I pointed out was wrong you just try to ramble on about how I need to post a photo of me... I think you've basically just admitted from your action that I was right. She isn't feminine or attractive. If you had a clue as to who she was you would know she is not known for her femininity but rather for being a very butch character. Now maybe you get off seeing women trying to dress act like dudes. If you do then good for you but just because you think women acting like dudes is sexy doesn't mean that anyone else does. You've found yourself a niche, enjoy as you won't have much competition.

reply

Oh wow. This is priceless. I could easily post a pretty photo of Ruby there are hundreds just one google search away but I’m not here to defend someone’s looks. Fact is you made an offensive pig comment after posting a photo and that’s pretty ugly behaviour, uglier than Ruby’s appearance for sure. And don’t assume I know nothing about her I’ve been watching her on various programs for years. It sounds like I care more than I really do, because I think this whole argument is pretty stupid.

reply

It's more accurate to say we have different standards, though I imagine someone as tactless and unenlightened as you seem to be won't understand that.

reply

Ruby Rose is ugly all of a sudden? That's your argument? Skip.
