Omg all the lines about woman power in this trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrIiPcv4_iY

So much fucking cringe, how many times do they gotta beat you over the head that its a woman, "That suit will be perfect when it fits a woman" "I'm not about to let a man take credit for a womans work". I can just tell already this show will be full of shit like that, every second a line about women empowerment and men are scumbags.

So...?

reply

It's pretty much what i expected.Just look at what an SJW cringefest they turned Supergirl into.

reply

Man gives up, woman comes to restore peace and harmony.

The trailer was pretty much "Antifa: The TV show". Not particularly interesting.

reply

Follow by woman getting knocked up and then spender the rest of her time looking for cute little dresses to put on her princess that she will one day try to tell needs to be empowered. The humor in all this feminist anti-male crap is that 90% of the women in this country weren't raised by men they were raised by other women, yet they still act as if men have conspired to teach them to behave a certain way... that behavior was taught by the mothers not the fathers.

reply

Next generation of kids ain't gonna brainwash themselves. Go CW!

reply

That trailer was terrible.

There's also a new trend, only a lesbian who is like a man can be a real woman.

That's a glorification of all that's male, not feminine.

reply

Say it ain’t so

Luckily, the show has a built-in safety feature. It was created by the CW, which is notorious for their dumbass Liberal writers who can't write stories to save their lives. Therefore, as long as it's made by CW, you can be alerted NOT to watch it. Saved me many years of mental anguish and torture.

reply

I have watched many CW shows and agree with you about the quality therein. Took three years of torture before I finally quit Arrow, 1 season of Flash, 2 episodes of LoT, and 1 episode of Supergirl. Wretched writing. Sour, 2 dimensional drama.

HOWEVER ..... iZombie happens to be a fantastic show. It doesn't belong on the CW (well, there is a bit of obligatory young romance). The show is clever and very well acted. I heard about it and disregarded it based on its name and its home at CW. Figured it was going to be lame/10. Saw the first episode at a friend's house. Absolutely hooked since then. Light and funny. Sometimes even brilliant.

Quick off-topic synopsis/plug for this show I love:

Pre-med student gets scratched by a zombie. Has to keep steady diet of brains or she become lackluster and dull and eventually goes "full Romero" So she quits med school and gets work at police morgue for the easy access to brains. The hitch: she adopts personality quirks and memory flashes from the brains she eats (lead actress is great!). Given the source of the brains, she learns clues to murders, etc. She pretends to be a psychic to help the police solve crimes related to whoever's brain she ate. Loaded with subtle puns and obscure references. 10/10

At first I was like, oooh, then I was like ahhh, then I was like the fuck?, followed by cringeworthy SJW mantra. The amount of dislikes even tells when someone is pushing the agenda too far if not too fast.

-Alfred got a skin change because being a white man in 2019 is too privileged and will now only make suits for a female gay tomboy.
-Batwoman was a man before the sex change reassignment and gender switch
-Batman left after he saw what leftists turned Gotham into.
-Batwoman only wearing lipstick when she's in her suit? She trying to be Catwoman.

reply

I hate when they cast a black guy in a role like Alfred.

It's like they just pick any black guy and are okay with it. Instead, they ought to find a Black Alfred to at least fit the character. That would be a strong older, very polite and eloquent, soldier kind of man.

When I watched the trailer I had no idea that was Alfred, I though it was a guy who broke in with her into the house.

reply

I don't think that was Alfred. I assumed it was someone either like, or related to, Lucius Fox. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not.

reply

Yes a "young Alfred Black Guy" would be heinous.

Also, he was acting stupidly in the trailer.

I would assume that if you knew Batman and his secret, you wouldn't be "Oh Dearing" like C3PO as someone breaks into the Batcave.

More reasons not to watch.

reply

Supposed to be Lucius Fox's son for no apparent reason.

reply

Dumb.

Let's tell some kid the biggest secret in the world.

Why would a gentleman’s gentleman, that is, a butler, have class, style, taste, dignity and panache? Answer: because otherwise he would not be a gentleman’s gentleman, aka, a butler.

Yeah. I knew you didn’t know that. Now you do.
