I had low expectations, but I thought that the movie wasn't too bad. There were some parts that were a little ridiculous and others that really went nowhere, but overall the movie was OK. Creepy and unsettling at times, but also pretty funny at other times.
shareyeah, it's a great film. it has a great pacing, lovable characters, it's pretty funny, it has a very original plot, it has great surprises, it has a great atmosphere, great in jokes, a great idea underlying it's story, great acting by all the main actors, and they took 45 minutes developing the main characters before getting to the zombie apocalypse which is usually not done in zombie movies and is usually needed in zombie movies.
shareThe part that was really unnecessary was the three kids in the detention center. We never see what actually happens to them at the end either. It wasn't funny, scary or creepy. It just didn't fit into the movie. I would have preferred they cut that part out and added more Bill Murray and Adam Driver. They were great and their characters were really funny together.
