We finished the series this evening and generally liked it.

The ending is not the way Austen would have done it, but may be more realistic.

I thought the above review too harsh on the character of Charlotte. She's a lot more appealing than that. The fact alone that when she makes a mistake she always apologizes profusely and means it is so refreshing in these days of phoniness

I think I still prefer the novelization written by "Another Lady", but this was still good. And it looked great. Rating it 9/10 on the ol' IMDb.
