Nature of the Doll
Someone told me they are not going supernatural!route. Chucky apparently is going to be the result of a malfunction like an evil Jonny 5. Does anybody know?
shareHeard that too.This already had a strike against it when i read they weren't using Dourif for the voice.Now their straying away from the source material.Instead of a serial killer trapped in a doll were gonna get mini terminator.
shareIt is kinda like how Don Mancini wanted to do it originally though, cause in the original script there was no serial killer or voodoo involved, it was a doll with synthetic blood and Andy cuts his finger and mixes his blood with it like a blood pact and that kinda brings the doll to life.
Its not exactly like that in this but its kinda similar with them removing the voodoo aspect of it and taking the serial killer out of it and just making Chucky the result of something screwing up with him in the factory.
