Anyone know when this will be in theaters?
it was supposed to be 2019, but now says 2020....
Should be great to see the true story of American legend Bass Reeves on the big screen.
iMDB now says it's coming out Dec 13th

Why do you think this film will get a theatrical release in the middle of the Christmas movie release window and with zero marketing or advertising?
Bass Reeves deserves a big screen showing but this film will not see wide release. The two big name actors are Ron Perlman and Frank Grillo and neither man will be bringing in an audience for this film.
Well it did get a theatrical release, but very limited. Saw it was playing in a North Hollywood theater, can't find anything here in Northern California. Not very good reviews.
Grillo and Perlman are big time sort of, and it's about a real historical figure mentioned in the recent Watchmen series on HBO. So it did deserve a bigger release. Hope to find it on video.
