Scars on her back???

When the mom was in the shower, I could have sworn I saw a pentagram on her back. I thought maybe that was leading to something or would be relevant, but if it did I never noticed.

Did anyone notice this?

Ok, I found my answer in the deleted scenes. The mom was abused as a child.

I loved ALL of the deleted scenes. They all served a purpose and it is a crime they were deleted. I haven't been this mad since discovering the Girl Interrupted deleted scenes.

I thought for sure there'd be some backstory there, but no. If it was referencing deleted scenes they should have deleted that shot, too.

They really should have left the deleted scenes in. It wouldn't have affected the runtime much.

I saw them on Hulu but you can find the Run deleted scenes on youtube now!
