Overall it was passable in regards to being entertaining, but its biggest problem is the lack of strong chemistry between the main leads. The film lacks the memorable chemistry and back and forth bantering that made buddy cop flicks such as 48 Hours, Lethal Weapon, and Rush Hour classics. It ultimately just settled for being serviceable at best.
